LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP

Become a member of the only professional body of endodontists recognised by dental organization and registration authorities in Australia and New Zealand.

  • To promote and improve the understanding of Endodontology as a specialty.
  • Endodontists who are members of the ANZAE will be listed in an online register. Dental professionals and the public will be able to locate a member based on suburb, state, and country.
  • Attend annual scientific meetings and social dinners, where members will have the opportunity to hear from renowned and international speakers.
  • Provide the assistance in training future Endodontists.

Full Membership

Membership Fee:

(GST Inclusive)

Subscription Period:

2025

Full membership may only be granted to a practitioner:
  1. Registered as an Endodontist in Australia or New Zealand
  2. In "Active" practice, as specified by the Australian & New Zealand Academy of Endodontists Inc. Constitution. "Active" practice shall mean:
    -Any private or government practice-
    -Any academic, educational, research, or administrative activity that is remunerated, as determined by Council according to the By-Laws.
  3. Not less than five years after graduation as a dentist
  4. Who is a member in good standing and maintains membership of either the Australian Dental Association Inc. or the New Zealand Dental Association Inc. and is a member in good standing of either the Australian Society of Endodontology Inc. or the New Zealand Society of Endodontics (Inc.).

Retired Membership

2025

At the sole discretion of the Council, Retired Membership may be granted to a Full Member who has ceased active practice. A retired member does not have to be registered as an Endodontist in Australia or New Zealand, and does not need to be a member of the Australian Dental Association Inc., the New Zealand Dental Association Inc., the Australian Society of Endodontology Inc., or the New Zealand Society of Endodontics (Inc). 

Honorary Life Membership

Honorary Life Membership may be awarded to a member of The Academy who has rendered long and/or outstanding service to The Academy, the specialty of Endodontics or the dental profession in Australia or New Zealand.

Honorary Membership

Honorary Membership may be awarded by the unanimous vote of the Council, or majority vote of members of The Academy at a General Meeting for a period of one year. This category is intended for overseas or visiting persons eminent in the field of endodontics and may be awarded more than once.
